Lismore Community-Led Plan 2023

This follows on from the 2012 and 2016 Lismore community-led plans, which can be viewed on the Shire page https://www.corangamite.vic.gov.au/Community/Community-Planning/Lismore These plans identified local priorities to improve public assets, events and services. The plans can be used by community to work directly with Council and other levels of government on priority projects, or to direct their own activities. Community organisations can use it for their own projects or to work with others to apply for funding or other support eg from windfarms, philanthropic bodies or sponsors.
The Lismore Progress Association will co-ordinate a review of the Lismore Community Plan using input and advice from a broad range of local people. It will invite:
  1. Community members to complete the short Community Survey below, by 6th April
  2. Community members, if they prefer, to have a kitchen table discussion with 5 to 8 people. Guidelines are available on the Lismore website of through Progress contacts listed below.
  3. A number of organisations and key businesses in the town to share ideas for a possible future.
  4. All community members to consider the Community Survey responses at a special meeting in Lismore CFA Rooms 7.00pm – 8.30pm 17th April
  5. All Community members to consider and prioritise the survey input at a public meeting (Late April)
The community priorities will be reported to the community (May) and included in the 2023 Lismore Community Plan to be presented to the Shire (May)
